Tijuana has become one of the main places North Americans go for All-on-4 and other full-arch implant treatments. A fixed All-on-4 arch typically costs $8,000 to $15,000 in Mexico, compared with $25,000 to $40,000 in the US. Tijuana’s closeness to San Diego makes the two required trips, and any follow-up visits, much easier than flying across the country.
What to expect
- Trip 1 (about 4–7 days): 3D scan, extractions, four or more implants and a fixed temporary bridge.
- Healing (3–6 months): soft foods for the first weeks; the implants fuse with your jaw.
- Trip 2 (about 5–7 days): scans, try-in and the final bridge.
Full-arch surgery is a big procedure. Plan to stay close to the clinic for the first few nights rather than crossing back each day.
Why price ranges are so wide
- Final bridge material: zirconia costs more than acrylic on a metal frame but is stronger and more stain-resistant.
- Number of implants: All-on-6 costs more than All-on-4.
- What’s included: extractions, sedation, the temporary bridge, bone grafts and follow-ups.
- Implant brand and the experience of the surgical team.

Questions to ask a Tijuana full-arch clinic
- How many full-arch cases does the surgeon do each year?
- Is there a prosthodontist or restorative dentist designing the bridge?
- What happens if an implant fails during healing?
- What’s the warranty on the implants and on the final bridge?
- Do you provide recovery accommodation or transport?
Recovering in Tijuana
Expect swelling and bruising for several days. Stay in a comfortable hotel near your clinic, stock up on soft foods, and don’t plan to cross the border back to the US the same day as surgery. Our Tijuana guide covers areas to stay and crossing tips.
