Cancún is a popular place to combine a smile makeover with a beach vacation. Porcelain veneers in Mexico are commonly quoted at $350 to $550 per tooth, with Cancún usually toward the top of that range, compared with $900 to $2,500 in the US. Veneers can usually be completed in a single trip of about a week.
What veneers cost in Cancún
- Porcelain (e.g. E.max): roughly $450 to $550 per tooth at many Cancún clinics.
- Composite: lower cost, but less durable and more prone to staining.
- A set of 8 to 10 upper veneers is the most common smile makeover.
Factor in flights and hotels. For a full set, the savings usually far outweigh travel costs.
A typical week
- Day 1: consultation, photos, scans and shade selection; often a digital preview or mock-up.
- Day 2: tooth preparation and temporaries.
- Days 3–5: the lab makes your veneers. Enjoy the beach.
- Day 5–7: try-in, adjustments and bonding.
Getting a natural result
- Ask to approve a try-in before final bonding.
- Choose a natural shade rather than the brightest white.
- Ask how much enamel will be removed. Aggressive shaving is a red flag.
- Make sure any gum disease or decay is treated first.
Recovering in Cancún
Veneers involve little recovery beyond some temporary sensitivity, so you can enjoy the Hotel Zone beaches, Isla Mujeres or a day in Playa del Carmen between appointments. See our Cancún guide for where to stay and safety tips.
