Snap-In Dentures in Los Algodones: Prices and Timing

Snap-in dentures, which clip onto two to four implants, are one of the most popular treatments in Los Algodones. Prices for implant-supported dentures there typically run about $1,500 to $4,000 or more per arch, compared with roughly $3,000 to $7,300 in the US and an average of about $8,289 per arch at Aspen Dental. If loose lower dentures are your main complaint, this is often the best-value fix.

What you get

  • Two to four implants in the jaw
  • Attachments (usually locators) on each implant
  • A denture with matching sockets that snaps on and off

Ask whether your quote includes extractions, a temporary denture, the attachments and the final denture, and how many implants it covers.

Timing your trips

  1. Trip 1 (2–5 days): extractions if needed, implant placement and a temporary denture.
  2. Healing (3–6 months).
  3. Trip 2 (2–5 days): attachments fitted and final denture made.

Many winter visitors fit the two trips into one season: implants in November or December, final dentures in March or April. If you already have a denture that fits reasonably, some clinics can convert it to a snap-in denture on the second trip.

Questions to ask

  • How many implants do you recommend for my upper and lower jaws, and why?
  • Which attachment system do you use, and can US dentists service it?
  • How often will the inserts need replacing, and what does it cost?
  • What’s the warranty on the implants and the denture?
