Los Algodones isn’t just for dentures. Its clinics also place many dental implants, and published 2025–2026 price lists put a single titanium implant at about $750 to $1,000, among the lowest prices in Mexico, compared with $3,000 to $4,500 in the US. A zirconia crown adds roughly $400 to $500. Here’s how implant treatment works in this small border town near Yuma.

Why Los Algodones works well for implants
- Two easy trips. Many winter visitors place implants early in the season and return for crowns months later, or the following winter.
- Everything within walking distance. Clinics, labs and pharmacies cluster within a few blocks of the Andrade crossing.
- Low travel costs if you’re driving from Arizona, Southern California or Nevada.
Things to check
- Who places the implants: a general dentist or a surgical specialist? Ask about training and how many implants they place.
- Whether the clinic has a 3D (CBCT) scanner on site. It’s important for safe implant planning.
- The implant brand. Recognized brands make future repairs easier at home.
- What happens if an implant doesn’t fuse, and whether that’s covered.
A typical plan
- Visit 1 (1–3 days): scan, extraction if needed, implant placement.
- Healing (3–6 months) at home or in Yuma if you’re wintering there.
- Visit 2 (1–3 days): abutment and crown.
Stay in Yuma, park at the Andrade lot (about $10 a day as of October 2026) and walk across. See our Los Algodones guide for details.
